You could have never thought a thing as beautiful as a smile could give you the creeps while sleeping at night, talking to your friends or just working in your office. Smile 2 is really changing perspectives about smiling people here. So much so that a random smiling person would make you debate whether to smile back or take a quick run for your life.
Smile 2 is a psychological horror movie that is back with its smiling horrors after a year of a very successful release of its first part “Smile”.
Smile 2 is about a creepy curse that you get if you witness the death of a person who was cursed with it. Sadly, Skye Riley becomes victim to this horrifying hallucinating curse. She witnesses a death while out on the run for some drug for her back pain and officially becomes a part of the curse.
These hallucinations take over her slowly and affecting her music career and eventually her entire life and the people that are in it.
Even after trying to get out of this hideousness she finds herself completely absorbed by the curse and creepy smiling people all around make her lose her mind.
Cast of smile 2 includes Naomi Scott, Kyle Gallner, Rosemarie DeWitt, Lukas Gage, Dylan Gelula, Raúl Castillo, Miles Gutierrez-Riley, Ray Nicholson, Peter Jacobson, Zebedee Row, Roberts Jekabsons, Sean Stolzen, Margot Weintraub, Drew Barrymore and more.
Smile 2 official trailer teaser is the best way to get you started on the story and attracts you in just the right way into watching the entire movie. Smile 2 teaser trailer definitely shows some hideously creepy smiles and gives ample warnings for people weak at heart.
One thing that really caught people off guard was the smile 2 marketing. It was one of the most interesting things seen even for the people reading about it. Smile 2 marketing was basically done by putting pictures of actors’ creepy smiles in the movie on random cars at the back so it looks like someones smiling in the back seat. People have reported to be extremely terrified and screams have been heard at night due to the excellent job done with the campaign.
Terrifyingly grinning passengers have been spotted in cars across Los Angeles, promoting the upcoming horror sequel Smile 2. While the original film’s viral marketing already sent chills down spines, this latest stunt cranks up the fear factor to a whole new level.
Haunting the streets of LA, eerie cars have been spotted with unsettling grinning passengers (none other than Ray Nicholson, son of horror icon Jack Nicholson, for those in the know). Upon closer look, the chilling effect is achieved with cleverly placed stickers, but I’d definitely be doing a double-take if I saw that sinister smile cruising by.
This latest smile 2 marketing stunt follows a spine-chilling moment at a recent baseball game, where two eerie actors were spotted ominously grinning in the background. Similar creepy sightings took place earlier this month in New York, when unsettlingly smiling figures took over Times Square, looming over unsuspecting pedestrians. By blurring the line between reality and fiction, this clever viral campaign perfectly captures the essence of a horror movie, cleverly reminding fans that they’re never truly safe even away from the cinema.
Smile 2 release date was October 18th 2024 so it had been out a while ago but is definitely worth the hype especially after such great marketing smile 2 deserves to be watched.
