Countries like the US and UK will be seeing a slight Disney Plus subscription hike and we think the situation might get similar for a few other countries as well. The prices will boost from $13.99 to $15.99 for the ad-free service and from $7.99 to $9.99 for the ad supported one. It’s a mere guess but users tend to think the reason behind the Disney plus subscription hike might be the exciting offer they had going on.
Disney plus offered an exciting free Disney dining plan for Disney+ subscriber which included a room at a select Disney Resort hotel and a theme park ticket with a Park Hopper option on purchasing a non-discounted 4-night, 4-day Walt Disney Travel Company package valid from July 1st to September 30th.
According to Shortlist, the new prices will be effective starting October 17th and believe it or not but Disney plus isn’t the only streaming website that will be experiencing a hike. Hulu and ESPN+ is right behind it.
However, US residents can take advantage of this latest bump by purchasing the bundle of Hulu and Disney plus together for $16.99 with ads, or $29.99 for the subscription without ads.
Unfortunately we cannot say the same for UK residents yet.
Even if one thinks to change Disney plus subscription to another streaming platform, now would be a very difficult time for users because of all the hype of the new movie Inside out 2 Disney plus will be streaming that’s coming out soon.
Rumor has it that millennials would be able to have a beautiful nostalgia and Gen-z would be able to see what all the hype is about on this movie on Disney plus hopefully by the end of September.
