Sony has finally unleashed the official trailer of 28 years later 2025, a much awaited sequel of the movies 28 days later in 2002 and then 28 weeks later in 2007. And with 28 years later 2025 Danny Boyle is back in the director chair!
What is even more exciting is that Cillian Murphy returns with a bang in the 28 days later series and we cannot wait for it to be on the big screen.
For all of the geeks that have no idea what is being talked about 28 years later is a post-apocalyptic horror movie which is the 3rd movie in the series. First was 28 days later released in 2002, second was 28 weeks later released in 2007 making 28 years later the 3rd movie. Although if thinking about it the 3rd movie should’ve been 28 months later since that makes sense after days and weeks but who are we to judge?
In the new 28 years later 2025, nearly thirty years have passed since the outbreak of the rage virus, which escaped from a biological weapons lab. Now, under a strict and unforgiving quarantine, a few survivors have managed to carve out an existence amidst the infected. One such group resides on a small island, linked to the mainland by a single, heavily fortified causeway. When one of their own ventures off the island on a mission deep into the heart of the mainland, he uncovers a web of secrets, strange phenomena, and terrifying horrors that have altered not only the infected but also the remaining survivors.
28 days later 2002 review were actually quite positive with a 4.2 rating of the movie. There were comments that said by the look of the movie it seemed like a typical zombie movie but they were surprised with the story and dedication in the hard work shown in the movie and with Cillian Murphy of course doing magic with his skills.
And now as Cillian Murphy returns with his magic in the 3rd movie we are expecting no less than the previous two masterpieces.
People are hoping 28 years later 2025 to be a 28 days later relaunched or in other words basically want the movie to be as good as the first part because nothing can take place of the OG movie. But if, as what the trailer shows 28 years later 2025 could be even better!
