Why is it that we keep hearing cartoons were much better in the 90s

than they are today? There definitely has been technological changes

that have made modern day cartoons better animated with top-tier

improvement in visuals and sound. But is it true? would people still

prefer watching 1990s cartoon shows over modern cartoons?

We see millennials these days complaining that even the old age world

favorite 1990s cartoon shows like Tom and Jerry, looney toons show

and barbie has been ruined by modern age.

In fact according to majority 90s born the Barbie movie 2023 starring 

Margot Robbie had said to completely tarnish the ideology and essence 

of barbie in their

minds. Gen-z of course has mixed views about it.

Popular cartoon characters 1990 like Pink Panther, Bugs Bunny,

Courage from Courage the Cowardly Dog Show and Popaye the sailor

man are still many parents’ choice of cartoons for their kids today.

According to them those cartoons weren’t just for mere enjoyment for

the kids but also became a classroom in disguise. Had a lot of learning

morals and kids not so surprisingly even caught up to that because who

wouldn’t want to be as cool as their favorite cartoon character.

Gen alpha seem to enjoy these cartoons too.

Gen-z however, has different and quite interesting views. A hefty sum

thinks there was no censorship regarding sensitive issues like racism

and body shaming and since time has evolved and these smarty-pants

have definitely outgrown the brain of their parents, they refuse to be a

part of the 1990s tv shows list that their parents cannot seem to let go

of and still believe its all nostalgia and that 1990s cartoon shows are

definitely not better than modern day cartoons.
